Distributor Interface supports service Interconnection (sIX) as a technology infrastructure product and is comprised of the following core components.
- Metadata Acquisition, Transformation and Delivery to the sIX System.
- File Acquisition from appropriate Storage areas and Delivery.
- Notifications module that consumes and passes notifications from sIX System to the distributors
- Logging and Monitoring module to log transactions and unique identifiers between PBS and sIX System.
- Reporting and Dashboards module to provide metadata quality and file delivery statistics.
